In the ancient world, an odyssey was not merely a journey-it was a trial of character. To leave home was to invite transformation. The daring returned changed.
Delphi Odysseys are modern echoes of those ancient feats. We curate unique, invitation-only adventures at the edges of the world that bring together extraordinary people to push limits, share learnings, and forge bonds that endure.

The Itinerary
Five days of adventure, discovery, and celebration
Day 1 - Arrival & Grounding
Arrive via Pico or Faial with coastal transfer to base. Ocean swim, introductions, and an opening dinner in a private adega wine cellar. The evening unfolds into a fireside circle beneath the stars - no agenda, just connection.
Day 2 - The Deep Ocean
Full-day expedition to Princess Alice Bank, a mid-Atlantic seamount home to whale sharks, mobula rays, and whales. Charter vessel with scuba and snorkel options. Return at golden hour with whale and dolphin viewing along the route. Simple coastal dinner and quiet decompression.
Day 3 - The Volcano Ascent
Mount Pico ascent beginning in the afternoon, climbing into the evening to watch sunset from the highest point in Portugal. Summit camp above the clouds, waking to sunrise over the Atlantic. Shared fatigue and triumph - the core bonding moment.
Day 4 - Vineyards & The Dionysia
Morning descent, followed by rest and recovery at the lodge - cold plunge, sauna, stretch. Afternoon exploring UNESCO lava vineyards with micro-producer tastings. The final night is The Dionysia: music, masks, wine, and fire. An outdoor celebration that spills into the night.
Day 5 - Return
Big brunch and integration session as we share memories. A closing circle to reflect on what is carried forward. Departures.
